Fix Her Up By Tessa Bailey

-->
To say I now love this author is an understatement, and it’s not just because she has the best last name ever. Fix Her Up easily wiggled its way into my top 3 favorite romantic comedies, and it makes me want to re-read The Hating Game by Sally Thorne to see which one I love more!
I loved the novel from the first page! I even wrote a little note on page 3 that says, “Very funny start!” I fell asleep immersed in the pages and went a little wild by putting off cleaning for a cookout to discover the ending. I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to finish everything in time. If I put myself under that much stress just because I couldn’t put this book down, you know it has to be amazing!
 The writing is superb, the cover adorable, and the story is lovable and well developed. Tessa Bailey was able to make me feel all the right emotions at all the right times. I almost lost it near the end when my heart was breaking for Georgie! Tessa did a great job at developing both Georgie and Travis. Georgie is so funny! When I say I laughed out loud, that is not an understatement. My husband thought I was literally losing my mind. Georgie is feisty and a woman I want to be friends with. No wonder she is able to strike her deal with hot shot, Travis.
I’m excited to follow up with Dom and Rosie’s story (fingers crossed for something with Bethany too!) Would recommend for anyone who loves a great HEA!

Relatively Sane By Whitney Dineen

Relatively Sane By Whitney Dineen This is the second book in the relatively series by Whitney Dineen. I read it right behind the first book with little lag time between the two. If you do as I did, be prepared for a lot of re-cap. I give this book 3.5 stars rounding to a 4. Our main girl Cat is back in this romcom about the Masterson clan. She is home and looking to start a new life for herself in familiar territory. She has rekindled (kinda, you will see) her relationship with Sam and is excited about being home and with her family. Now she just needs to figure out how she's going to go from a party planner in the big apple to a career in her small hometown.  I was intending on giving this book a 3, but the ending was really good. I felt like the entire first half of the book could have been a couple chapters because it practically went over the majority of what happened in the first book. This allows for people to hop right in to the second book without having to read Relat...

Bootleg Springs Series By Lucy Score and Claire Kingsley

Y’ALL! I devoured this six book series, Bootleg Springs . I have so much I want to say about it, but I will try not to drop any big spoilers! Lucy Score and Claire Kingsley did a great job collaborating on this series. Although I believe I can tell the difference in who was the main writer in each book, the series was so well woven and consistent. I gave each of the books 5 stars on Goodreads !             The books are set in a small West Virginia town, Bootleg Springs, famous for its hard-hitting moonshine. I fell in love with the town as well as the quirky characters that gave the town its uniqueness. Our main characters are the Bodine family and their close friends. Each book follows a different set of characters, found on the beautiful covers, and the series needs to be read in order! There is an overarching storyline involving the disappearance of a teenage girl 13 years earlier, and that’s all I can say about ...

Red Rising By Pierce Brown

I am so impressed with this story,  Red Rising by Pierce Brown. It has sat in my “to-read list” for a really long time. Honestly, I’m a little thankful I waited because the anticipation waiting for the next book would have killed me with this series! I gave this book a 5/5 rating. I honestly loved it. I read the first six chapters before I went to bed, and the next day at work all I could think about was the story and how I had to know what happened. To say the least my heart was so shattered (maybe because I have a soft spot for miners…who knows!?) during that initial section. Brown did such a great job capturing the identity of his characters and making you love and need more from them. In a world separated by the color of someone’s hair, eyes, and sigils, Darrow, the lowest of the low a red, slaves in the bottoms of the mines of mars. When his life is shattered and torn upside down he, our favorite helldiver, goes through hell to face the golds and make his wife’...
